David Warby (A.K.A Stomper) has been a professional songwriter since 2002 when he wrote chart-toppers as the frontman for pop-rock band Summersalt. The band was signed to Universal Music, rocked MTV, and toured South Africa and Singapore.

Originally from Cape Town, Stomper now resides in Bristol where he writes and collaborates in a variety of genres specifically aimed at placement in film & TV. Recently, his track Wishing Well was placed in the Netflix series Dark. He also wrote the theme tune for Aardman's Munki & Trunk series.
